Our tour in Egypt, on Sept. 24-25, 2011 was superb.
Our guide, Wahleed (I’m looking for my card w/info
on how to spell Wahleed’s 2nd names…please write
back if you don’t know which guide I’m talking about??
and I’ll hunt some more. But, hope you know exactly
which guide I am talking about??!!) is one of the most smart,
knowledgeable and helpful individuals we have ever met.
Spending 2 wonderful days in and near Giza, Cairo,and Alexandria
Egypt with him were a supreme treat and wonderful learning
experience for both me and my husband.
We thoroughly appreciated the depth and breadth of Wahleed’s knowledge
regarding archaelogy & history relevant to Egypt, as well
as his remarkable ability to be gracious, considerate, thoughtful
and helpful to his guests. Our driver was also wonderful, very polite
and excellent/safe driver. We enjoyed our lodgings at the Mercure Le
Sphinx very much, as well as our dinner “on the Nile.” We so
thoroughly appreciate everything Ramses put together for us…
our lunches were delicious, our viewing w/ Wahleed of the ancient
sites, the Pyramids, the papyrus institute, overview of Cairo as
we drove through…unforgettable and extremely valuable experiences.
We loved touring the Eyptian museum w/ Wahleed in Cairo, AND
especially, the ancient sites (i.e. Memphis, Saqqara) themselves of which he
is so knowledgeable
and giving of his extensive information!! What an amazing resource
you have with this knowledgeable, intelligent and giving of himself guide!
We fully believe it was Wahleed’s superb abilities as
a guide that made everything in your fascinating country so enjoyable for
us.
Altho so young, he is wise and so gifted at what he does. Thank you, for
a perfectly marvelous 2 days in Egypt!!!
